Scientists have just found a positive link between how often a woman has sex and the strength of her memory, which is great, if you're looking to remember that sort of thing.

The horny scientists at McGill University took some time away from their own bedrooms recently to complete a memory study inspired by an apparent link between sex and the growth of nerve tissue in the hippocampus, the area of the brain responsible for emotional responses and memory.

To examine the connection, 73 heterosexual women under the age of thirty were asked to take a test which involved remembering people's faces as well as abstract words. The scientists found that the more frequently a women had sex, the better she tended to be at remembering abstract words.

Interestingly, sex frequency had no relation to the women's ability to remember faces. Ironic, right? If you're going to remember something about a sexual experience, it's way more useful to remember that person's face than any of the random words they may have screamed.
