24-year-old Kayleigh Eliza Boase of Cornwall, UK, recently Snapchatted a classic mirror selfie to celebrate her love of comfy loungewear. She didn't think anything of it until she received a body-shaming message from her former personal trainer, Jowan Townsend-Trahair, later that day. "That belly," he wrote. After that, they had a conversation about her fitness regimen that so infuriated Boase, she felt compelled to expose this judgmental "idiot" on Facebook.

Idiots like this is what causes people to have eating disorders. Only an insecure bloke would try to belittle a woman. So screw you, I'm happy that's all that matters!🖕👊

Pretty normal selfie. Who would have a problem with that?

Oh wait, this guy does.
Oh wait, this guy does.

Commenters immediately came out by the hundreds to give Boase their support, and to rip this jerk apart.

Boase was overwhelmed.

Others who knew Townsend-Trahair started sharing their own experiences with him. It turns out this wasn't an isolated incident.

And it gets much worse from there. By this point, Boase's post was going viral. After it was covered by Cornwall Live, a local woman named Kell Johnson reached out to them to share abusive messages she received from Townsend-Trahair after she broke up with a friend of his. He wrote:

[Redacted] said you look like you've been hit by a car, reversed over, picked up threw off a cliff, buried, dug back up and then shot in the face point blank with a shot gun

[Redacted] said to avoid sleeping with you again he'd rather eat s**t five times a day for the rest of his life, peel off his foreskin with a cheesegrater, bite off every single finger and toe … kill his dog and then dig him up after burying him, and eat his b**lsacks. Then take out every single one of his teeth and give them to a homeless, inject himself with AIDS and then shoot himself in the face with an automatic rifle

Townsend-Trahair, for his part, isn't trying to hide from the backlash. Asked to respond on Facebook, he wrote:

I love the attention. Crack-on brother … For the record I wasn't 'body-shaming' anybody. I have already apologised to Kayleigh. This is funny af (as f***) but for now I'm busy bro' so peace out.

He'll have to keep pretty busy to avoid the internet's Hate Train. It's headed straight for him at full speed.
