This St. Patrick's Day t-shirt is a prime example of why you should never mix drinking and branding meetings. Because honestly, you'd have to be pretty inebriated to think this was a good idea:

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

It looks familiar, right? Of course, this is blatantly coopting the phrase "Black Lives Matter," which came about as a response to police officers keep killing unarmed black people. Nothing about the phrase "Black Lives Matter" says "please make me into a silly drinking pun for frat bros to spill beer all over!"

This actual real t-shirt is for sale at everyone's favorite clothing store, PubCrawls.com, for $19.95, which is also an offensive price for a dumb t-shirt that you can only wear once a year. Oh and, great, there's a women's version as well!

The makers of this tee-shirt also directly copied the Black Lives Matter logo, pictured here:

Really? PubCrawls.com, reeeeeally? You couldn't even come up with your own artwork to go with your stolen slogan? Sad!

The item's description reads: "Explore this year's New York City St Paddy's Pub Crawl in Style!" And frankly, that just seems like a really bad idea.

I mean look, I love a good joke. But if you're going to make one about "Black Lives Matter," make it a good one. And if it's a bad one, like "drunk lives matter," maybe don't put it on a shirt and wear it in public on the drunkest night of the year, in New York City. Or anywhere else, really.

Happy St. Paddy's Day! Remember to drink—and dress—responsibly.
