Remember your elementary school talent show?

That magical time of the year when adults encouraged (forced?) you to do perform musical and theatrical numbers in front of your entire community, no matter how much or how little talent you possessed?

The elementary school talent show is a rite of passage for sure — and on Twitter, '90s kids are sharing their most cringeworthy memories from those heady days of amateur acting and Moulin Rouge lip-syncs.

Writer Nicole Cliffe got the ball rolling when she asked her followers to recall their best and worst talent show memories.

She also shared her own, which is pretty epic.

Here are a few more tales of talent show triumph and woe. Thank god iPhone cameras and YouTube didn't exist yet.
