When it comes to plastic surgery, pretty much everyone's got an opinion — and it's one of the touchiest topics out there.
Despite this, one woman's best friend actually had the nerve to offer her free plastic surgery from her doctor husband for her birthday — despite the fact that she has never expressed a desire for cosmetic procedures before.
Now she's asking if she had a right to be offended and taken aback by the offer, after turning it down flat. She took to Reddit to ask who's in the wrong.
Ok, so I (33F) have many qualities, but looks is not one of them. I am smart, I got a full scholarship to an Ivy League university, I have a good career, I am funny, charismatic, make friends easily, etc, but when it comes to looks...let's just say I look like a potato. I am short, square-ish, flat in the places I should be round, round in the places i should be flat. Add two kids to the mix (3y and 4m), let's just say nature really did me good here.
