Wedding planning is hard enough without your soon-to-be-in-laws trying to ride your coattails.

A bride is asking for advice after her fiancé's sister tried to turn her wedding reception into a double affair. She's pretty sure the other couple is asking because they can't afford their own wedding, and wondering if saying no makes her an a-hole.

The woman and her fiancé are planning a September wedding for about 200 people:

My (27F) fiancé (28M) and I have been dating for about 6 years now, and he proposed last year. We started planning a wedding almost immediately because we want to start our family soon, we’re both stable in our jobs, we’ve found a house and are working on a down payment, etc. Basically, we didn’t see a reason to wait.

So the date has been set for late September and the venue will be able to support our large number of guests (around 200)
