We all know about the gender pay gap and the way some genders are expected to be more "emotional" than others. But what about the smaller, subtler double standards that people don't talk about as much?

I was a single dad for a few years. I can’t count how many times I was out doing normal things with my daughter and people complimented me for “babysitting”.
