Having a baby is a massive adjustment. And if you feel like your partner's not holding up their end of the deal, it can be frustrating.
A new mom recently posted on Reddit asking if it's okay for her to be peeved that her husband keeps working out while she's dealing with the baby (and probably having to deal with her own body's recovery).
Here’s a little background... My husband and I had our first baby (SUPER planned and thoroughly talked about) about 11 months ago. Since he has been born my husband has been going to the gym at the most inopportune times. He went to the gym the day after we got home from the hospital!
For the past couple months, he has been going around 7pm. I pick up our son DAILY and make it home around 5. I then make a full dinner about 80% of the time (6pm), clean up all dishes(6:45ish), and then do our son’s bedtime routine (7-8:30pm). Then I clean up some more and take our dog out. I’m usually in the shower by 9:30, which is also about when my husband returns home.
