It seems like there's a stereotype for every identity under the sun. And if you ask someone whether they've been unfairly stereotyped, chances are they'll say yes.

A recent Reddit thread asked, "Whats a stereotype about your identity that you hate so much?" The answers prove we're all dealing with something.

1. Every neuro-divergent person isn't a math genius.

I'm an introverted autist so I guess that must mean I'm a grandmaster mathematician right? Wrong I suck at math and hate it with every fiber of my being - 12gunner

2. Just be nice because you like someone, okay?

Always hated when people told everyone to go befriend the quiet kid after a shooting. I was a quiet kid and i wouldve been pissed that the only reason everyone was trying to be buddy buddy is bc they were scared i might shoot up the school. People didnt really want to be my friend bc i wasnt outgoing, i get it. Thats part of life and i for one enjoyed the peace and calm to read a book or two - Spottedpool14
