It's easy to be jaded about online dating in the year of our lord 2018. But this story might make you feel the wonders of Tinder as if it's 2012 all over again.
Emily Cochran, Tinder user, was swiping away one Tuesday when something weird happened: she matched with a guy whose Lacroix had been stolen. And a guy who admitted to having lifted some Lacroix from the sidewalk.
Drew, 19, told Emily he'd just found some Lacroix. (They were apparently already discussing Lacroix before this, because millennials.)
"Coincidentally I just found a rack of Lacroix on the sidewalk," he wrote. "Swear on my life. Kind of took it home."
Meanwhile, Raymond, 20, told Emily he was doing "pretty bad" that day.
