If your friends are a**holes, are you an a**hole by association?

An "Am I The A**hole?"post is exploring that query after a guy wrote about his friends who are very clearly awful. When he refused to join their scheme, he was criticized for it, but does that mean he's in the clear?

He wrote:

My wife and I often travel with friends. One friend in particular and his wife have no mobility issues whatsoever but he or she routinely ask for wheelchair assistance when flying. This enables them to cut long TSA lines and board the aircraft first.

He has tried to get me to "piggyback" with him but I refuse. I've expressed to him that his practice embarrasses me, especially since he's so brazen about it that they walk off the plane unassisted upon arrival.
