Everyone knows it's not easy working in the service industry. Understandably servers get frustrated when customers are rude and tips are nonexistent. Sometimes you get a customer so bad, you just want to tell the world your story, but in this age of posting everything on social media for likes, are people going too far to shame people for likes?
Reddit user u/aitacoffeeserver found himself in a situation like this after a barista publicly shamed his elderly mother on TikTok. His mother, visiting the US for the very first time, innocently didn't know to tip when she ordered her coffee and ended up the subject of a humiliating and degrading video. This loyal son ended up complaining to the manager and getting the barista fired when she wouldn't take down her racist video.
