Scheduling an event for multiple people is difficult enough without having to factor in Hallmark holidays.

A matron of honor booked the bachelorette party for Mother's Day weekend, and the one mother in the group is upset. Sunday's event won't last all day, meaning that the mother will still be able to spend time with her kid. She's still upset, however, that the time is interrupted, and insists on a change.

The MOH explained on "Am I The A**hole?":

I (30f) am the matron of honor in Jane’s (my 32f friend’s) wedding. Jane and I both have complicated schedules and finally figured out a weekend in May for her bachelorette party. The only weekend we could find just happened to fall on Mother’s Day.

Jane had me invite 7 women for a weekend in wine country. None of us have children except Mary who has a 2-year-old.
