Many women, and hundreds of Etsy cross-stitches declare "Sisters before misters," but is there a limit?

A woman's sister is engaged to her ex, and while she's accepted their relationship, she doesn't want to be part of the "entourage"—aka, the wedding party. The whole family is upset with her decision so she turned to "Am I The A**hole?" for guidance.

The would-be maid of honor wrote:

Lisa (26F) and Greg (29M) are getting married next year. Greg and I (29F) used to be a couple. We dated for 3 years before I broke up with him because he slept with his co-worker (Amber). That was 4 years ago. I have moved on from him but I still hate the guy. And I am sad that my sister is marrying a cheater (he also cheated on Amber).
