A bride and groom are going viral for their incredibly tacky RSVP card that makes the guest's meal choices contingent on how large a gift they give.
Not the shiny paper nor the fancy serif font could redeem the Choosing Beggar of it all, not to mention how demanding it is of vegetarians and Jews who keep kosher.
The card reads:
So that we may prepare your preferred dinner, please circle your gift level and indicate a meal choice for each person in your party.
LOVING GIFT: Up to $250. Roast chicken, swordfish.
SILVER GIFT: $251 to $500. Above choices or sliced steak, poached salmon.
GOLDEN GIFT: $501 to $1,000. Above choices or filet mignon, lobster tails.
PLATINUM GIFT*: $1001 to $2,500+ above choices or 2 lb lobster plus souvenir champagne goblet.
