These days I rarely see movies in theaters. The last one was 'Girls Trip' back in 2017. Last year, if I watched a movie it was on my laptop, in bed, ensconced in my snack nest (salty AND sweet are a must). There's a luxury theater in my neighborhood that may well lure me inside with its promises of gourmet food and ticket deals. Otherwise I bypass what usually ends up being an expensive, disappointing experience. I don't want to hear strangers talk or chew while I'm trying to objectify Ryan Gosling! It requires intense concentration.
Recently, Twitter user @undertheskiin requested that people "Tell the TL about your WORST movie theater experience" and people responded in droves. Before we proceed, I'll mention that your feet might stick to the floor and someone's probably ejaculated on the armrest you're using. Cool? Cool.
