When you get engaged to someone, you imagine spending the rest of your life with that person, enjoying the good times, and supporting each other through the bad. That's what true love is all about, right? But what happens when your fiancée betrays and lies to you, right when you need them the most?

That's what happened to Reddit user u/AdNO3535435. After losing his younger brother to cancer, he was understandably devastated. Instead of finding comfort in the arms of his fiancée, he found himself absolutely furious with her after discovering she sold his late brother's favorite chair to pay for a gym membership.

He turned to Reddit for advice.

AITA (Am I the As*hole) for flipping out on my fiance for selling the gaming chair my brother gifted me to pay for her gym membership?

He writes:

I (m33) lost my 27-year-old brother to cancer a couple of months ago. We were so close and had a lot in common. He was a gamer and had all types of gaming gear including a gaming chair that he wanted me to have before he died.
