A student's tweet showing off her new college email address is going completely viral, due to the (accidentally) inappropriate nature of the address. Megan Finger, a student at Central Washington University, was given a typical student email address, consisting of her last name and the first two letters of her first name. Only, in her case, that's…very suggestive.
It seems ridiculous that the school would issue the email address "fingerme," but the email addresses of students are all completely computer generated, following the same rules. With so many students to register, there's no way any administrator would notice this one. And if they did, COME ON, it's too funny to change.
The tweet, which is from 2014, is making the internet rounds again, the way evergreen tweets sometimes do. It's currently got over 72,000 retweets and 128,000 likes.
Even if Ms. Singer didn't love her email address, Twitter sure did.
There's no word on whether Ms. Singer kept the email address or managed to get it changed. Depending on your sense of humor (and boldness), it could either be the funniest or most embarrassing email address ever. We're going with funniest.
