Now that nearly every high school student has a cellphone, it is pretty dang easy to cheat on tests. Yeah, these kids don't even have to work hard to cheat like the rest of us did back in the day! No writing tests answers on the inside of the water bottle labels for them.
So it made sense that physics teacher Eric Saueracker banned cell phones from his classroom while his students took their midterm exams. However, listening to music sometimes really helps some students to perform well on tests, so one of Saueracker's students came up with a genius way to listen to his music without breaking any of the rules:
He brought in a portable record player and a stack of records.
