Saudia Shuler is a North Philly mom who knows that nothing says "I love you, son" like laying down multiple G's. She had initially planned to send her teen son, Johnny Eden Jr., to Dubai as a graduation gift. But instead she opted to bring Dubai to Philadelphia. Because that's what rich people do: they move entire cities across the globe just for fun.
Based on Shuler's instagram account, her son enjoyed the party, posing for photos with all three of his dates.
And multiple outfit changes.
But the camel stole the show.
Apparently Johnny Jr. wasn't sold on the party at first, but he came around. "At first I was like, it was too much, I don’t really like a lot of attention but it’s worth it," he told CBS Philly. "It was epic, man. I had my family out here. That’s all I really cared about is my family being out here. My mom did her thing, she was the real MVP."
Saudia Shuler said she threw the party to reward her son for graduating with a 3.8 GPA and for excelling on his school's basketball team. "I was just trying to pay honor my son, because he is such a good kid," she told CBS.
To make the story even sweeter, Shuler says she fought and beat cancer a few years ago. At one point she said she was on her "death bed" and swore if she survived, she would "put on a big prom" for her son. And that's what she did.
Johnny Jr. shared this video on Insta to thank her:
We came here hoping to poke a little well-meaning fun at this teen and his extremely doting mom. SO MUCH FOR THAT PLAN. Now we are in love with this family and want them to adopt us. That camel probably feels the same way.
