A 17-year-old high school senior in British Columbia was sent home from school after being told by her teacher that her outfit was making people "uncomfortable." The incident has sparked outrage online.

A photograph of the teen's outfit—a black slip dress over a white turtleneck— was shared on Facebook by a mom named Bethanie Frank, who detailed what happened:
