Even though we know it's wrong, there's something irresistably tempting about snooping through someone else's private belongings. Sometimes we do it with intention of finding something specific—like a family member's secret drug stash, or evidence of a partner's infidelity. Sometimes we're just overtaken with curiosity. Either way, it's usually a pretty bad idea. Even if we don't get caught, snooping through someone else's stuff can lead us to discover things that will make us regret the decision to snoop in the first place. Sometimes, ignorance really is bliss.
1.) From ts151:
I was around 7 or 8, snooping in my mom and dad's closet. I found a file with some papers, including my birth certificate. It had my sister's name as my mom and for dad it said "unknown". So that was my first indication I was being raised by my grandparents. Yeah, that was a pretty crappy day.
