On May 29th, all 8,000 US Starbucks stores will be closed for racial-bias training following an incident in which two black men were arrested while waiting to meet a friend at a Philadelphia location

Rashon Nelson and Donte Robinson say they were waiting for a third person to arrive before ordering coffee. Instead, a Starbucks employee called 911 mere minutes after Nelson and Robinson entered the store, and the two were arrested for trespassing.

Now one Starbucks barista named Ty (@the_myleg_fish) is speaking out about the racist comments they've heard white folks make since the shut-down was announced.

But most of the comments on the thread were just dragging all the "Karens" of the world:

Will a day of training from Starbucks fix these deeply-ingrained racial biases? Honestly, probably not. But at least we will all get to witness some people have hilarious meltdowns over not being able to get their iced caramel macchiato with extra whip.
