Good intentions don't always translate to good deeds. The saying, "one man's trash is another man's treasure," also works in reverse. What might seem like a gift to one person could be an actual living nightmare for someone else. There's nothing quite like getting a "gift" or a favor from someone that ruins your whole day/week/year, and still having to say "thank you!"
In a popular Reddit thread, someone asked: "What's the worst thing someone has done for you with 'good intentions'?"
