In 1998, I was seven years old and spent most of my time watching TV on an actual television, journaling, and doing hoodrat stuff with my friends. In 2018, my life is largely the same, except the television's been replaced by smaller devices (laptop and cell phone). There's also a huge pile of CDs and cassettes (!) at my dad's house that I'll never have use for again. Feeling nostalgic yet? Or - dare I say it - old?

The responses came rapid-fire and the bulk of them were hilarious. Not everyone thought in literal terms.
