5. CNN employees and other "journalists." As if this week wasn't confusing, stressful, and entirely bewildering enough, the very people who are supposed to be giving us reliable information totally dropped the ball. There were bound to be rumors swirling around this week, but that's why God created words like "alleged," "possible," and even "likely." Also, silence. CNN chose to use none of those when it incorrectly reported that a bomb suspect had been arrested on Wednesday, without ever apologizing. Other news sites also perpetuated inaccurate information, like the guilt of a Saudi student, or the guilt of a missing Brown University student, or the guilt of a local high school track star. Luckily, CNN seems to have learned their lesson, as their top story this morning was about a family of otters who found a new home in an unlikely location. Check it out—it's totes adorbs!
