From this Sea shell house in Mexico to this Hobbit-inspired home in Washington, there are a plethora of unique and gorgeous vacation rentals to choose from on Airbnb. But, surprisingly, the most popular Airbnb out of hundreds of thousands of listings is not one of their several castles or private villas— it is this quaint and cozy treehouse in the woods of Atlanta, Georgia.
According to Refinery 29, The treehouse's listing gets over 300,000 site visits each month and is featured on over 147,000 Airbnb "wish lists." The one bedroom treehouse will cost you $375 a night, a hefty fee considering that it does not come with heating, cooling, cable, or an attached bathroom, but the hundreds of 5 star reviews left on the property speak for themselves:
"Oh my goodness, the tree-house is EVEN better in real-life, if that is possible!!! It is a truly magical experience - we stayed for 2 days and never once left! We recommend doing the same!" wrote one renter.
Another gushed "This place is beyond magical and quite honestly a dream come true. I could sit in that bed and listen to the bullfrogs and crickets all night and day while overlooking the beautiful forest and creek below. There's just really something special about every little detail of the treehouses and anyone who has the chance to go definitely just needs to do it. I will remember the experience forever as being 2 of the greatest days of my life."
According to the listing, the treehouse is three rooms: a living room, a bedroom and a porch. They are all interconnected with rope bridges. But don't pack your bags just yet— the treehouse is rented out until June 2018.
