While we all love a guy who cares for and respects his mom, we don't so much love a "mama's boy." And if we've ever dated one, we know that a boundary-crossing, co-dependent mother-son relationship can spell out an absolute nightmare for his future partners.
Someone asked women of Reddit: "What is the worst example of a 'mama's boy' you have ever encountered?"
1.) From inveraveritas:
I go to uni with a guy who's mum comes once a week from 3 hours away to do his laundry and cook him meals for the week. He's 26 years old. Wasn't even ashamed to admit that.
2.) From rocketscientology:
I used to live with a guy whose mum would come over once a week with groceries, toiletries etc., do his laundry, and replace socks and undies when he needed new ones. We were 20 and he barely knew how to take care of himself at all.
