Job interviews are usually pretty tough. But nothing is tougher than your first job interview, when you're young, energetic, fresh-faced, and have no clue how badly you're about to embarrass yourself. Most likely, we all embarrassed ourselves in our first job interview, even if we didn't necessarily realize it at the time.
In a popular Reddit thread, someone asked: "What's the biggest mistake you made on your first job interview?"
1.) From NotCleverNamesTaken:
Showed up in person to a phone interview.
2.) From geeses:
"Why should we hire you instead of anyone else?"
"I don't even know who else you are interviewing with, how could I know that I'm better than them?"
Led to a really awkward silence.
