When we think of "entitlement," we often think of a spoiled, bratty child, or a "Karen" complaining about the service at a restaurant. But arguably a much more damaging type of entitlement is that of employers who feel entitled to underpaid (or even unpaid) labor from their workers. The whole point of having a job is getting paid money so that you can afford basic expenses like food, rent, and maybe even an occasional leisure activity. And yet, we live in a society where many employers don't pay their employees enough to afford even those basic needs. It's almost like we have no choice but to put these employers on blast.
