Fat-shaming is never ok, and it's definitely not ok to fat-shame the clients at the gym you work at. Just, nope. Nah. No way José. Get out of town, clown. Etc.
A guy who is "really into body building" (hashtag same) recently took to Reddit to share an ethical "dilemma" he experienced at the gym where he has been going 3-4 times a week for the past 16 years. I relate to this because I have gone to the gym 3-4 times in the past 16 years.
For context, I am really into body building and have been going to the gym 3-4 times a week since I was 13 (now 29).
There is a personal trainer, Ashley, at my current gym thats also a single mother of two. I mention this as it’s the reason I think I’m probably an asshole since she clearly needs the job to support her kids.
Anyway, I’m not really friends with her, but she’s always really nice to me and has flirted with me a lot previously. We talk occasionally. Yesterday she asked if I wanted to add her on social media and I figured why not, so I said yes.
