It's not that easy to find a new job, so employees often end up tolerating some uncomfortable, annoying, or even illegal situations at a job. And many employers think they can get away with crappy behavior. But everyone has their limits. And if a job pushes you past yours, it's time to GTFO, even if it means you'll have to look for a new job, which means you'll have to log back in to LinkedIn. Nooooo, not LinkedIn!

Someone asked Reddit: "What was something that you saw at work that was so f**ked up, you quit?"

These 19 employees share stories of the disturbing, boundary-crossing experiences at work that made them say "I'm out!":

1.) From Gapingyourdadatm:

I got hired to work at a call center. My job would have been calling people who previously made contributions to causes or candidates, and pestering them to give more.

I quit after the second day of orientation, when I was told things like

"If someone says they can't afford to give, that doesn't mean they don't have the money, it just means they need to pay rent and afford to live. Your job is to get that money before they use it to pay bills."
