After midnight, most of us are at home sleeping or watching Netflix or eating twinkies in bed or whatever it is we do to ward off the late-night scaries. But the brave souls who work the midnight shift don't have the privilege of staying home during the witching hours. There's a reason the midnight-to-8 am shift is called the "graveyard shift." Because we all know these are the creepiest hours when the most "supernatural" and scary or unexplainable events occur.
Warning: these are probably best read during daylight or at night from the safety of your home.
1.) From Chinstrap6:
When I was in the oilfield, I had to take a piss so I walked to the edge of my worksite and let it rip. Halfway through a mountain lion walked right by me, like within 10 feet. That was scary.
Another time I’m standing on the edge of the site and shining my flashlight into the empty field and I see all these little green emeralds. There’s thousands of them all over the field and I have no idea what they are. I walk out into the field about 30 yards or so and lean in on one of them. Yep, they were all spiders.
