For most people, it takes a seriously abysmal experience at a store or restaurant for us to leave a bad review on a website like Yelp or Google (I mean who even remembers their Yelp password?!).
But there are terrible people out there who use review websites as an opportunity to air their own petty grievances or even to straight up lie. Fortunately, these platforms allow business owners to respond to reviews, in many cases revealing that there is a lot more to the story than the customer claimed.
Lying in a bad review is terrible behavior which can have serious consequences for a small business, which is why it's always pretty glorious to see these customers get called out on their bullsh*t.
