16 things women have to consider before dating a man that men never think about.

Ever hear the saying that a woman is laughing at a man's biggest fear and a woman's biggest fear is being physically harmed by a man? While this is the top of the spectrum, this saying holds the truth that women must think more about their interactions with men than men do with women.

To illustrate this point, on a popular Reddit thread in the Ask Reddit Subreddit, women share some things they think about before choosing a man that men never think about when choosing a woman.

Are his nails clean because those might be in me at some point?

Will he try and shove it in my a** without asking or warming up.

4. Wordhippo says:

Did I tell someone where I’m going or who I’m with? (The buddy system is a thing) Also: did I make sure to watch my drink the whole night? Is he even going to try to make me come? Am I wearing sexy enough underwear? Have I eaten anything gross that might come back up if I deep throat?

5. BackItUpWithLinks say:

'Will I feel safe falling asleep next to this person?'

6. tachederousseur quotes comedian Sam Morril:

I think most women look at s*x like buying a car. You know, like, 'Can I see myself in this long term?' 'Is it safe?' 'Is it reliable?' 'Could it kill me?' Most guys look at s*x like parking a car. We're like, 'There's a spot.' 'There is another spot, that would work.' 'Oh, I have to pay? - Never mind.' 'Handicapped? - Hope no one sees us.' - Sam Morril

7. Fighting_Patriarchy says:

Does he have a hidden camera somewhere?

8. iwander801 says:

9. PasstheKu5h says:

Something I didn’t use to consider until it happened to me was being stalked. I matched with a guy on tinder at 8 pm, and he immediately asked for my Snapchat. I gave it to him, thinking we would talk for a bit, but as soon as I added him, he started talking about plans for right then. I told him I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go out with him when I hadn’t even spoken with him. I started to leave him on delivered since he was being pushy about it. I got a notification from tinder that he had messaged me, and when I read it, he asked me when I was coming outside like what??

Even though I never gave him my address/location, he was in my cul-de-sac waiting in his car. It turns out I had my SnapMap location on, and he found out where I lived through that. He sat there for two hours, waiting for me to come outside. I was scared to block him, in case he did know which house was mine. But after spamming me for two hours, he finally messaged me, calling me fake, saying I ghosted him, etc., and left. Every time I think of meeting up with someone new, I consider all of that.
