Weddings have a magical way of bringing out the worst in people. Jealousies burn hotter, rivalries get more bitter, and demands grow more and more outrageous.

Reddit user u/Geiagirlz finds himself in the middle of some major family drama when it comes to his sister's upcoming wedding. His mom and siblings don't like his wife, so he isn't going to the wedding. Ok, so it ends there, right? Nope. He decided if he isn't going to the wedding, then his mom shouldn't be footing the bill for his sister's shindig.

Now he's on the internet asking:

AITA (Am I the As*hole) for asking my mom not to pay for my sister's wedding which I’m excluded from?

He writes:

Growing up I was very close to my mom and two sisters and then I met my wife and we began having issues. My mom and my wife clashed but they’ve moved past it.
