Would you keep a secret for a family member? What if that secret could potentially ruin another person's life?

That's the situation Reddit user u/ladyR0seX recently found herself in. She felt she was doing the right thing by informing her future sister-in-law that the rich lawyer she's about to marry is actually a janitor with two-failed marriages and a kid.

Now the wedding's off and her family is mad at her for exposing the truth. She's turning to the internet to ask:

AITA (Am I The As*hole) for telling my brother’s fiancée the truth?

She writes:

I (21f) have an older brother (29m) who has been divorced twice and is about to get married to his fiancée of two years (26f) and she a party celebrating the fact that she got engaged a few days ago.

I was invited but my brother wasn’t since she wanted to have a little party with her friends and since she wanted to bond with me (her future sister-in-law) she also invited me.
