It’s the end of Coke Zero as we know it. Coca-Cola has announced that it will replace Coke Zero in the United States with a new diet soda, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar.
Confused?
Coke Zero, which has zero sugar, is being replaced by Coke Zero Sugar, which also has zero sugar. Can you hear the sound of my brain dying?

The company released a statement that said: "Coca-Cola Zero is getting a new name, new look and even more delicious taste. The no-calorie fan favorite will deliver an even better-tasting recipe and now be called Coca-Cola Zero Sugar."
Look for Coca-Cola Zero Sugar to hit shelves in August. The diet soda already is available in other parts of the world, including Mexico and Britain.
Stuart Kronauge, Coca-Cola’s senior vice president of marketing for North America said in a statement: "We're confident our new and improved Coke Zero Sugar recipe delivers a great taste that Coke Zero fans in the U.S. will love."
