Speaking entirely in clichés, the United States is both a land of plenty and a melting pot. There is so much food here, and also so many different kinds of food. It may even seem like there are few foods that are distinctively American, as there are so many different world foods available in even the smallest towns. But that's apparently not true, because some people from other countries took to Reddit to name all the delicious, fattening, only-in-America foodstuffs they'd love to cross off their edible bucket lists.

A homemade, complete Thanksgiving dinner.
I've been to the states around that time and ate a Thanksgiving dinner, but it was a catering company serving food to over 1000 people. While it was not terrible, it was mostly bland and made of pre-prepared food. But it made me want to try a homemade one with roasted and stuffed turkey, gravy, real cranberry sauce, and that weird sweet potato with marshmallow thing.
