In a perfect world, everyone would get a plus-one to every wedding.

But sometimes it's too expensive. And sometimes, you might just not like some guests' partners.

One bride has taken to Reddit to ask whether she's wrong to exclude her mother's long-term partner from her wedding — because her mom left her dad for this partner.

The bride says she just reconnected with her mother recently:

I (27F) am getting married in a few months to my fiancé (31M) A couple years ago I also reconnected with my mother (52F), with whom I had been estranged from for over 10 years. She left my dad (55M) when I was 12 to move across the county with her lesbian lover, who we’ll call Pam.

We later found out my mom had been cheating on my dad with Pam for over two years prior to that. She has been with Pam ever since and I have not hat contact with her until a couple years ago.
