<p>We all know by now that a one-star review can tank a small business&#39;s reputation. Still, sometimes it&#39;s good to let potential customers know what they&#39;re in for.</p><p>But one woman is wondering whether she did the right thing by writing a one-star review for <em>her friend</em>&#39;s catering company after she hired the friend for a work function. Yikes.</p><p>She <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/AmItheAsshole/comments/opig7u/aita_for_leaving_a_1_star_review_on_my_friends/">posted to Reddit</a> about the incident, to find out whether she&#39;s the a-hole in the situation.</p><h2>The woman was happy to hire her friend for the job:</h2><blockquote> <p>My company had an event and I was in charge of organising it. For catering, I immediately thought of my friend who recently opened a new cafe. We have been friends since high school, so it&rsquo;s been decades long friendship and we do catch up with each other regularly. Just an honest breakdown of what mistakes were made and some pointers on how they could be improved on.
