When it's time to take a pregnancy test, should both parents be present? Or is it okay for the person peeing on a stick to just do it on their own?

That's what one woman is asking the people of Reddit after a disagreement with her husband over her own test.

The woman says it's been a "roller coaster":

My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for 6 months and it has been a bit of a rollercoaster. My periods are irregular and we have had some false positives so it’s been an emotional time. I’m late for my period and drs told me to do a home pregnancy test before getting any blood work done.

She's been taking tests in the middle of the night:

I’ve been peeing a lot more lately (hence possible pregnancy) so I ended up peeing in the middle of the night and did a test then, as well as doing a test the following morning. Both times I didn’t wake my husband up and just told him the results after doing the tests (both were negative btw).
