Everyone deserves to have time to themselves to recharge—especially moms. But should the person taking care of the kids get to decide what they do with them?
A mom who has a very hard time understanding her husband's passive-aggressive protests booked a weekend at Disney World for her husband and kids so she could have the house to herself. It sounds reasonable, except for the fact that her husband didn't want to be sentenced to a weekend at Disney.
She asked "Am I The A**hole?" whether she or her husband is being unreasonable. She wrote:
I (30F) have been married to my hubby (34M) for 7 years now. We have two kids together, ages 5 and 8. Hubby and I both have advanced degrees and work in healthcare, but I'm the breadwinner of the family. This past Monday, I offered to pay for a trip for him and the kids, because I wanted to have the house to myself for the weekend.
