<p>On the sad, cynical internet, we spend a lot of time talking about the childhood moments that haunt us and make us cringe decades later. But for every embarrassing cringey story&mdash;hopefully&mdash;there&#39;s an embarrassing yet hilarious story, that make us crack up no matter how much we&#39;ve grown up and how sophisticated our senses of humor have gotten (they haven&#39;t).</p><p>A recent <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/af33by/people_of_reddit_what_happened_during_your/?sort=top">Reddit thread</a> asked, &quot;what happened during your childhood that was so hilarious, even thinking about it today can make you suddenly burst into laughter?&quot; They&#39;re so stupid, they&#39;re brilliant.</p><h2>1. The Boomerang Incident</h2><blockquote> <p>Someone gave me a real Boomerang when I was 11 which was my favorite thing.
