Giving birth is the most difficult thing a human can do. That's why if your partner is giving birth it's up to you and anyone helping to create a comfortable stress-free space. Not everyone gets that though and may treat the whole thing as a joke.
AITA for kicking my husband out of the delivery room?
My husband (34M) and me (32F) just had our first child today.
We were in the delivery room together and all was going well. I was in a lot of pain but he was really supportive. The midwife was asking us questions about the baby in between contractions just to help ease my mind a little.
Then she asked if we are excited for the pregnancy to be over and I said yes because it's been hard for me. My husband snorted and said, "for me too, she was so difficult".
