To people that have great relationships with their in-laws, you don't get it. Having any in-law dislike you can result in a very toxic relationship. If you haven't experienced that yourself look no further than the internet.

On a popular Reddit thread, a woman asks if she was wrong to absolutely dunk on her mother-in-law after she continuously made rude comments about her husband being with a more beautiful woman.

AITA for what I said to my mother-in-law when she said that my husband was with the most beautiful woman at the wedding?

OP has a written-for-TV relationship with her mother-in-law.

So me and my husband (Jim)s mom (Mylah) don't get on much. She says that I'm just "not her type" and goes on and on about why we don't get on but I feel like she just doesn't like me as a person. Despite all that, we're civil with each other.

Yeah, let's get to the dirt!

So on to the situation, this happened days ago. I had to pick Mylah up to go to a relative's wedding as Jim was already in the wedding as an usher. When I picked her up she said, "you're wearing that?" with her disgusted face. I just rolled my eyes and drove.
