But sadly, many, many things are still very wrong with our society in 2019 and one of them is the archaic attitude people still have towards breastfeeding. It&#39;s just a boob, people!!!!! You can&#39;t turn on a TV without seeing one. And yet, the sight of one providing life-sustaining sustenance to a baby still causes people to lose their freaking minds.</p><p>So it makes sense that mom Olivia Cook, from Hanover, Pennsylvania, got frustrated and defensive when she was breastfeeding her 2-month-old son Parker in a pizzeria and the manager asked her to &quot;cover up.&quot;</p><oembed>https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10213598047495573&amp;set=ecnf.1534753685&amp;type=3&amp;theater</oembed><div className="ad-splitter"></div><p>Cook was at The Upper Crust in Gettysburg, PA with her family when the incident occurred. Because I happened to be feeding my two month old son uncovered. The so called &ldquo;manager&rdquo; stated that it was house policy that I cover myself, and the owner stated that I was selfish and only thinking about myself. I informed them, that what I was doing was legal, and they could contact the police to have us escorted from the building if that&rsquo;s what they so chose to do. It just so happens that today, of all days, I forgot a blanket, as I usually try to be very cognizant of those around us, but, when my son wants to eat, he will eat, no blanket, or blanket, period. I strongly advocate for feeding your baby regardless of the method. No mother should be discrimated against, or ostracized for tending to the needs of their child at any time. This establishment should be purely ashamed for the occurrence today. I am not one to ever make a fuss in real life, especially not social media. I am standing up for all parents, but especially breastfeeding mothers.
