When you think of pranks, you may think of whoopie cushions or drawing genitalia on a sleeping person's face or, God forbid, and "April Fool's Day" prank. But these types of pranks are tired, lazy, and over. A respectable prank requires thought, planning, and a deserving victim (or someone who can take a joke and appreciates the spirit of trolling). There are few things more satisfying than a really well thought out, well-executed, high-level prank.
In a popular Reddit thread, people answer the question: "What was the greatest length you went to just to f**k with someone?"
My stepbrother is a master prankster...my personal favorite is when he messed with his uncle by sending him Christmas cards from a made up couple with photos he found on the internet. "Hope you and the kids are doing well, etc love Bill and Amy" He also included details only someone close to the family would know, and even had his friend stop by their house when their son was playing outside and asked him to tell his dad that Bill stopped by. It got to the point where it was driving the uncle insane - he had no idea who this mystery couple was (because they didn't exist)
