Planning a wedding is stressful. So many decisions to be made and so many different groups of people to accommodate. Things can get complicated fast, especially if you're not paying for the glitzy shindig yourself.

Reddit user u/ThrowAwayAccount9B4 finds herself in a situation like this while planning her wedding. Her in-laws are willing to fork over large amounts of money to fund the event, but they want it their way. Their conservative values are putting this bride-to-be at odds with her own flesh and blood.

This conflicted bride turned to Reddit's "Am I The As*hole" to ask for an unfiltered response to her wedding day dilemma.

AITA (Am I the As*hole) if I ask my brother not to bring his husband to my wedding?

She writes
