Everyone dreams of winning the lottery, but when it actually happens things can get a little complicated. That's what happened to one lucky Reddit user known as u/throwaway834619. Their Valentine's Day was extra special when their partner gifted them a winning scratch-off ticket. The only problem is, she's not sure if they want to share the winnings.
It the morning they left a small present, heart-shaped marmalades, a cute Valentine's card with a cute text in it, and a damn scratch card on the kitchen counter. Then they left to work. I won 60 000 € (~$68k).
It's not the jackpot but it's still a pretty nice stack of money. I still have the ticket I've not redeemed yet.
What should I do? Stay silent and keep the money? Tell them about it and share the money? Tell them about it and keep the money for myself?
We have separate bank accounts and we are 25-30 years old. We've been dating for almost 1.5 years. I don't know yet do I want to spend the rest of my life with them or not.
